Animal farm coat of arms

So, did you know that George Orwell was so thorough with his… interpretation of the Soviet Union and its characteristics during the Stalin – Trotsky times, he even describes the coat of arms and flag of the animal farm, which resembles the one os the Soviet Union?


As you can see, the horn and the hoof described by Orwell are meant to represent the hammer and sickle of the communist emblem. All of it resting in a green field (because a red one would just too obvious and not fun).
